The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain how Education Services Australia Limited (ESA) safeguards your privacy by complying with its obligations in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). What is Personal Information?
Personal information in this Privacy Policy has the same meaning as in subsection 6(1) of the Privacy Act:
“information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion.”
In this Privacy Policy, ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the individual reading this Privacy Policy or those people whose personal information ESA collects, uses and discloses in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- fulfilling ESA’s role to support delivery of national education priorities and initiatives in the schools, training and Higher Education sectors;
- advancing ESA’s key nationally-agreed and commissioned education initiatives, programs and projects in line with national education initiatives;
- creating, publishing, disseminating and marketing curriculum and assessment materials, ICT based solutions, products and services to support learning, teaching, leadership and administration;
- acting as legal entity for the COAG Education Council; and
- recruiting staff and engaging contractors.
